I definitely find Ethics of Care to be a valuable addition to my ethical toolbox because emotions are important for human beings to empathize with others. When there is presence of empathy before judging a situation or making a move, there can be decisions taken in a selfless manner by eliminating/not considering logic or rationale. Human relationships are important from my perspective and therefore, emotional attachment with someone cannot be ignored.
